FAQ

How Do I Place An Order?

The ordering process is actually quite easy! You simply go to our "Contact " page and submit what you would be interested in! The Gable Guitars mission is to bring a personalized experience to every guitar made, so communicating with us is essential to the process. Simply give a brief description of what you are looking to have buit and we will respond within a timely manner!

Can I have any design made that I want?

Here at Gable Guitars we pride ourselves on the ability to create a guitar that can feed our customer's desires, that being said, we will sketch out a number of possible designs before they are cut out of the wood. We tend to stick to basic criteria that we know will give you a great sound and represent the woods used in the right manner, but ergonomics and size can always be adjusted to the body size and shape of the individual.

Can I have my guitar finished in transparent Tie-Dye?

Sorry but we don't offer that option. We take a lot of time carefully selecting your woods from some of the best small dealers in North America and beyond. We let the wood's beauty be the star of the show. We do offer basic sunburts and tints to our nitrocellulose finshes.

How long does it take to recieve my instrument?

Most instruments take around 90 days after recieving the deposit in full. All 731 Signature models take an additional two weeks due to addtional glue times required for the build. We will update each customer with pictures of their building proccess every step of the way.

What kind of pick-ups do you use?

Depending on the customer's request, we use a wide variety of pick ups depending on the desired tone of the instrument. Seymour Duncans are by far the most common pickups used for they have a variety of wiring option and plenty of parts for future repairs if need be.

Will you build me a Stratocaster or Telecaster replica?

Unfortunately we will not create replicas of any guitars that have been in production. We can compromise on tonal variations that you are looking for, but due to the fact that we are an independent company we seek to create unique instruments that can not be found anywhere else in the world!
